Chris A. Saurenmann, P.E.

Chris A. Saurenmann, P.E.

President & CEO

Chris has more than twenty-five years leading heavy industrial manufacturing teams. He most recently served as Vice President of Engineering and Quality Assurance for Thompson Pressure Pipe, one of the largest pressure-pipe manufacturers in North America.

Earlier he designed and led construction of automated manufacturing plants, including a large-diameter steel plant in Dallas, and served in senior operations roles at Hanson/Heidelberg. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, and is a seven-year U.S. Navy veteran.

Greg Popko

Greg Popko

Executive Vice President & COO

Greg has more than forty years in heavy industrial fabrication and manufacturing, including pressure pipe, wind towers, and power transmission poles. His strength is production-process optimization — efficiency, safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

He has served as director of operations and plant manager for large manufacturing operations, and helped design, lay out, and install equipment for a steel pressure pipe facility in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Calvin Swank

Vice President, Finance & CFO

Calvin has more than forty years of financial management in manufacturing and transportation, including 29 years in the pipe and precast industry and 13 years in pressure pipe. He is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from Wright State University.

Most recently he supported the turnaround and sale of Forterra’s Pressure Pipe Division to Thompson Pipe Group, then stayed on to lead financial planning and an ERP implementation.

Mike Shrum

Mike Shrum

Vice President, Operations · Board Member

Mike has more than forty years in heavy industrial fabrication and manufacturing, including pressure pipe, wind towers, and wind turbines. He focuses on production and maintenance programs, automation, and clear communication across the plant.

From 2003 to 2018 he served in roles from maintenance supervisor to plant manager. His background includes electrical design, PLC and automation work, and large-horsepower motors and robotics.

Clifford Hahne

Clifford Hahne

Vice President, Strategy · Board Member

Clifford has more than forty years leading heavy industrial, concrete, and aggregate companies. He most recently served as President of U.S. Operations for BURNCO, and earlier as a regional president across Pioneer, Hanson, and Heidelberg, including work in the pipe and pressure-pipe business.

He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he is recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus.
